Just Add Water

Tea is possibly the easiest beverage to enjoy; just add water! But, remember: tea first, water second. Tea is most aromatic and tasty when hot water is poured over the leaves. The flow of water aerates the tea, releasing aromas and flavor. That goodness won't emerge if leaves are dropped into pre-poured water.

Keep It Cool

Store Tillerman Teas in a cool environment, but avoid the refrigerator as tea may pick up other odors. Tillerman Teas have a shelf life of 6-12 months. Generally, the less oxidized the tea is, the more perishable it is. Green teas, the least oxidized, should be consumed within 2-3 months. Oolong teas, which vary in oxidation, will vary in shelf life. Black teas, the most oxidized, will last over one year.
